PWS Fundraiser

At 3 weeks of age, this sweet little boy, Dante was diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome(PWS). Imagine hearing that someone close to you will have life-long challenges that include speech and cognitive delays and an insatiable hunger that will lead to excessive eating and life-threatening obesity. It was almost unimaginable at the time but we had a choice to make. We chose to believe in Dante. We choose to believe that Dante will be happy and that we can eliminate the challenges of PWS, through the advancement of research. In just 4 years, our friends have founded a charity (Foundation for Prader-Willi Research Canada) and have raised more than half a million dollars to support PWS research.
